Does your glass comply with Health and Safety Executive recommendations (Regulation 14)?

Armorcoat® meets many of the most stringent Government and consumer programme standards, such as CPD, BS6206/EN12600, EN356, BS AU 209 Part 4A and GSA criteria.

Glass is an extremely fragile substance and, if it is not toughened or laminated, it is extremely dangerous.  If you fall against glass, it will break and the resulting glass shards can cause injury and possibly death.  You need to do everything you can, not only to protect against injury, but also against the possibility of legal action which could follow.

If your glass does not have a British Standard Kite Mark, it does not comply with regulations.  We can install window protection Safety Film that will ensure that your existing glass complies with British Standard BS6206/EN12600 Class A or B.

What’s more is, this is the cost effective and less disruptive option! Re-glazing or installing new windows   is frightfully expensive which is why installing safety film is the best option available.

Once applied to the glass, the window film bonds directly to the surface, so if the glass is broken the shards are held in place to prevent injury.

The window films are clear, so there are no concerns about it altering the appearance of the glass.  All our Safety Window Films are marked to BS6206/EN12600 Class A/B to show that your glass complies with Safety Standards. These films also have a 10 year guarantee when professionally installed by our company.
